Job Summary

• The Continental Chef (Lebanese Cuisine) will be responsible for preparing authentic Lebanese and continental dishes while maintaining the highest quality and presentation standards. The role requires indepth knowledge of Middle Eastern ingredients, cooking methods, and traditional recipes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present a wide range of authentic Lebanese dishes, including hot and cold mezze, grills, and traditional mains.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items.
• Assist in menu planning and development of new Lebanese and continental dishes.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on Lebanese cooking techniques and standards.
• Control food costs by proper portioning and effective inventory management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Continental or Lebanese Cuisine Chef in a reputable establishment.
• Strong knowledge of authentic Lebanese recipes, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
• Culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
