Role Purpose
- The Finance Intern supports the finance department in processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, filing financial documents, and assisting with reporting. The role ensures proper financial documentation and compliance with organisational and donor requirements while contributing to smooth financial operations.
Key Areas of Accountability
Financial Documentation & Transactions
- Assist in preparing payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Support the verification of invoices, advances, and expenditures.
- Assist with petty cash management and reconciliation under supervision.
Record Keeping & Filing
- Maintain organised financial files (both physical and digital).
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of receipts, invoices, and vouchers.
