    Human Resources Intern

    Role Purpose

    • The Human Resources Intern supports HR administration, recruitment processes, personnel documentation, staff welfare activities, and compliance with organisational policies. The role ensures effective HR operations and contributes to maintaining a professional and supportive work environment within CAYEI.

    Key Areas of Accountability

    Recruitment & Onboarding Support

    • Assist in posting job adverts, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
    • Support onboarding processes including orientation, induction, and documentation.
    • Maintain candidate and recruitment files in an organised manner.

    HR Administration & Documentation

    • Update staff records, leave trackers, and attendance files.
    • Support the preparation of HR letters, memos, and ID cards.
    • Assist in filing staff documents and ensuring proper record-keeping.

    Staff Welfare & Support

    • Support HR in coordinating staff welfare activities and communication.
    • Assist in responding to staff inquiries and directing them to appropriate channels.

    Compliance & Policy Support

    • Ensure adherence to HR policies, code of conduct, and safeguarding standards.
    • Assist in maintaining confidentiality and ethical HR practices.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
    • 0–1 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles.
    • Basic understanding of labour regulations and HR procedures is an added advantage.
