    Senior Customer Experience Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Customer Experience Officer to lead our patient service delivery efforts.
    • This strategic role involves supervising the Customer Experience team, ensuring smooth clinic operations, managing patient communications, and driving a strong customer-focused culture across the hospital.
    • The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with consultants, hospital leadership, and administrative departments to implement service standards, resolve cross-functional issues, and elevate patient satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Customer Experience Officers to ensure excellent service delivery.
    • Act as the escalation point for complex, unresolved, or sensitive customer issues.
    • Ensure consistent and professional communication with patients via telephone, email, in writing, and face-to-face.
    • Oversee patient registration, clinic flow, follow-ups, and rescheduling.
    • Ensure professional handling of patient communications and complaints.
    • Liaise with consultants, hospital leadership, HMOs, and corporate clients.
    • Lead the implementation of customer service policies and patient satisfaction surveys.
    • Monitor performance metrics, analyze feedback, and drive service improvement.
    • Manage the preparation and delivery of medical reports, bills, and official correspondence.
    • Train and mentor Customer Experience Officers while fostering a culture of empathy and responsiveness.
    • Any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication / English / Social Sciences or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in customer service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
    • Experience in the healthcare sector is a strong advantage.
    • Desirable Certifications: CRM Certification, Customer Experience Management, or similar professional qualifications
    • Must have completed NYSC

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and team management ability
    • Advanced understanding of patient relations and healthcare service delivery
    • High proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Effective conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and multitasking abilities.
    • Proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

    Nurse

    Job Summary

    • A Nursing Officer is responsible for treating patients who are sick and injured, counseling, offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, taking care of paperwork, and providing advice and follow-up care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Check vital signs
    • Care of the patient using the checklist
    • Get patients ready for surgery
    • Ensure biometry is done for a patient
    • Adequate takeover of the ward by ensuring room-to-room handover.
    • Ensure post-op vital signs
    • Ensure prescription sheet, lenses, and appointment sheet are in the consulting room
    • Medications and injections for both in and outpatients
    • Instillation of eye drops
    • Ensure instructions are carried out e.g. dilation, navigation to procedure or pharmacy or counselling dept.
    • Enter details on the hospital EMR (Indigo)
    • Counsel patients and record appropriately.

    Qualifications

    • Must be a Registered Nurse
    • A Post-Basic qualification in Ophthalmic Nursing is an added advantage.
    • At least 2 years of work experience in the same role.

    • Good technical and measurement skills.
    • Organized and methodical.
    • Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.

    Ophthalmologist

    Locations: Apo - Abuja (FCT) and Ikeja - Lagos
    Reporting To: Supervising Consultant and Medical Director at the location of assignment

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for a skilled ophthalmologist proficient in the use of state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment in the diagnosis and management of ophthalmic disease who will be responsible for running ophthalmology clinics and surgery.

    Responsibilities
    It include:

    • Managing daily ophthalmology clinics and surgeries
    • Coordinating outreach and training activities
    • Supervising and mentoring Resident Doctors
    • Performing cataract, glaucoma surgery, and other ophthalmic surgeries.

    Requirements

    • Fellowship with West African College of Surgeons (WACS) or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria NPMCN, or an equivalent international qualification such as the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS)
    • A valid license to practice ophthalmology in Nigeria
    • Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience.

    Ophthalmic Resident

    Reports To: Director of Post-Graduate Training / Supervising Consultant / Trainer

    Job Summary

    • Residents will undergo structured training as part of the West African College of Surgeons (WACS) and National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) Ophthalmology curriculum.

    Requirements

    • Must have a medical degree from an accredited university within Nigeria or equivalent from a university or medical college abroad recognised by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
    • Successful completion of West African or National primaries in Ophthalmology
    • NYSC discharge certificate.
