    Head, International Desk

    Job Summary

    • The Head, International Desk at AYGF is to coordinate AYGF foreign operations in different countries and ensure global partnerships, cross-border programs, and international stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliance with global policies while driving strategic international initiatives for sustainable development and youth empowerment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish and manage relationships with international donors, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Develop strategies for expanding AYGF’s international presence and influence.

    Procurement and Logistics Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Procurement and Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services, logistics planning and implementation, inventory management, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with AYGF’s procurement policies and donor regulations.
    • The position plays a strategic role in supporting efficient program delivery and operational continuity across all AYGF offices and project locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and coordinate all procurement activities in accordance with AYGF and donor regulations.
    • Prepare and implement annual procurement plans.
    • Ensure transparent, ethical, and competitive sourcing processes.
    • Review purchase requisitions and bid evaluations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation and databases.
    • Oversee the movement of goods and materials across all offices and project sites.
    • Coordinate transport logistics for staff, materials, and distributions.
    • Ensure fleet management systems are in place and vehicles are well maintained and documented.
    • Plan and supervise timely delivery of project inputs and supplies.

    • Professional certification in procurement and supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN) is strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably in NGO or international development context.
    • Strong understanding of donor procurement guidelines (e.g., USAID, EU, WFP, UN).
    • Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation, fleet management, inventory systems, and logistics coordination.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

    Country Director

    Job Summary

    • The Country Director (CD) will be responsible for establishing and leading the AYGF Kenya office, providing strategic leadership and oversight of all programs and operations in the country.
    • The CD will represent AYGF to stakeholders, including government, donors, partners,and the community. S/he will ensure the quality, growth, impact, and sustainability of AYGF’s interventions in Kenya in line with organizational priorities and donor expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide overall vision and strategic direction for AYGF’s work in Kenya.
    • Represent AYGF in country-level partnerships, donor engagements, government relations, and high-level events.
    • Lead the development and implementation of the country strategy aligned with AYGF’s regional goals.

    • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a senior management role in the NGO/INGO sector,with at least 5 years in a Country Director or equivalent position.
    • Strong experience in program strategy, design, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Demonstrated success in business development and donor engagement.
    • Solid understanding of the political, economic, and social context in Kenya and East Africa.
    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swahili is an asset.

    Senior Officer, Business Development

    Job Summary

    • The Senior Officer, Business Development will play a strategic role in driving AYGF’s resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, and donor engagement efforts.
    • The position is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, leading proposal development, fostering donor and partner relationships, and ensuring alignment of business development activities with the organization’s mission, goals, and thematic priorities.
