    QA Lab Analyst

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Assist the chemical analyst in daily chemical analysis of all chemicals and raw materials supplied to prevent acceptance and use of substandard materials.
    • Assist the chemical analyst in the determination of quality and wholesomeness of products from the factory, including their nutritive value, sensory properties and conformity with legal regulations.
    • Carry out physical inspection of material supplied against the LPO and take samples for physical and chemical analysis depending on the nature and quantity of material.      
    • Ensure that the results of Laboratory analyses are compared against specification and standards, only materials that conform to standards are received from suppliers while non-conforming materials are rejected.
    • Assist in carrying out routine analysis of semi-finished / finished products before the products are released to the market to prevent transfer of sub-standard products into the market.
    • Assist in the control of production process according to specifications and good manufacturing practice (GMP) in order to achieve optimal properties and avoid unwanted components, to which chemical and sensory methods are applied.

    OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

    • Holder of Higher National Diploma/BSc in Science related studies.
    • Between 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
    • Must have knowledge of Quality Control & Standards.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel
    • Experience analyzing data.
    • Experience, using advanced Laboratory Equipment
    • Detail Orientation

    Technical Operator

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Operate, monitor and troubleshoot production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and speed targets.
    • Implement Autonomous Maintenance on machines at defined frequences.
    • Accurately document all tasks performed, including machine operation and maintenance tasks.
    • Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to resolve machine related issues effectively.
    • Apply all company provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to Health Safety regulations
    • Prevent product cross-contamination by ensuring equipment cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

    • Minimum OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field.
    • At least, three (3) years relevant work experience as Mechanical or Electrical Technician

    Detailed orientation.

    • Ability to work shift rotation & extended work hours.
    • High level of drive and initiative.

    • Good communication & interpersonal relationship skills.

    Manufacturing Quality Assurance - Executive Level 3 (E3)

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Ensures the factory floor, equipment, work surfaces and environment are constantly maintained clean and safe for the production of good quality products. 
    • Ensures all raw & packaging materials meant for production use are suitable, certified okay and are well – stored.
    • Monitor conditions of storage of materials in the WIP store and ensure safe keeping of materials prior to usage.
    • Ensures production processes within the factory satisfy specifications and standard procedures of operations.
    • Conduct periodic verification/calibration of weighing scales, filters, metal detectors, flow meters, measuring devices and gauges within the factory.
    • Carry out periodic online quality checks/tests (send samples to the laboratory for further analyses where applicable) and advise the production team to make adjustments, preventive/corrective measures where necessary for conformity to product specifications.
    • Implement Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) plans, including record keeping to monitor critical food safety systems.

    OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

    • Holds a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
    • Between 6 - 8 years relevant work experience within FMCG industry
    • Experiene managing team.
    • Knowledge of GMPs.
    • Good presentation and report writing skills
    • Innovative and result oriented.
