Assist the chemical analyst in daily chemical analysis of all chemicals and raw materials supplied to prevent acceptance and use of substandard materials.
Assist the chemical analyst in the determination of quality and wholesomeness of products from the factory, including their nutritive value, sensory properties and conformity with legal regulations.
Carry out physical inspection of material supplied against the LPO and take samples for physical and chemical analysis depending on the nature and quantity of material.
Ensure that the results of Laboratory analyses are compared against specification and standards, only materials that conform to standards are received from suppliers while non-conforming materials are rejected.
Assist in carrying out routine analysis of semi-finished / finished products before the products are released to the market to prevent transfer of sub-standard products into the market.
Assist in the control of production process according to specifications and good manufacturing practice (GMP) in order to achieve optimal properties and avoid unwanted components, to which chemical and sensory methods are applied.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
Holder of Higher National Diploma/BSc in Science related studies.
Between 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
Must have knowledge of Quality Control & Standards.
