Production Assistant/Officer at Fisem Integrated Services

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant to assist in the production of high-quality animal health products by ensuring compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and safety regulation in manufacturing operations of our veterinary production facility. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and operation of production equipment and machinery.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials in accordance with approved batch records.
• Maintain proper documentation of production activities, including logs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor production processes and report any abnormalities or deviations.
• Ensure hygiene standard are maintained in production processes.
• Support packaging and labeling of finished veterinary products.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking raw materials and supplies.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
• Must have completed NYSC
• Minimum one year experience
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry would be an added advantage.
• Must basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work shifts when required.
