    Electrical & Instrumentation Lead

    Job Description

    • Oversee to the quality of the Electrical & Instrumentation work performed on site by the contractor and subcontractors are in compliance with contract requirements. 
    • Check the engineering documents prepared by the contractor – in his discipline – and to give timely comments on and/or approval of the documents, in accordance with contract procedures and requirements. To check the incorporation of such comments by the contractor. 
    • Monitor and review the progress of the work performed by the contractor. 
    • Participate in technical reviews. 
    • Supervision of the contractor during construction activities and ensure that all risks are well anticipated and reduced as much as possible. 
    • For his discipline and area, check that the quality assurance record books are properly documented by the contractor. 
    • Assess any requests by the contractor to deviate from quality control procedures or requirements and make appropriate recommendation. 
    • Participate in weekly, monthly and ad-hoc meetings with the contractor. 
    • Report on the work performed by the contractor and on any problems encountered to the Head IKD. Participate in RFC and AOC walkdowns, and assure necessary punch list items are properly raised. 
    • Follow up on ICAPS for his discipline and ask for corrections where necessary. 
    • Work with contractor and assure OTP-s are performed safe and in time. 
    • Make sure all necessary modifications are followed through with ICSS, field engineering and necessary red line mark ups are made and approved at every stage of the project. 
    • Follow up and close all punch list items together with contractor and hos subcontractors to assure a swift completion of the project. 
    • Make sure all final documentation is up to date for his discipline.

    Requirements

    • A degree qualified multi-disciplined E & I professional with a minimum of 15 years’ experience including 5 years in Projects with good construction and commissioning experience (Electrical & Instrumentation) and management of supervision personnel.
    • Very good knowledge of TOTAL OPERCOM.
    • Good relationship with Contractor personnel.

    Head, Projects

    Job Description

    • Management and execution of assigned projects within and outside Nigeria from design, construction, commissioning, and handover, while ensuring delivery in accordance with project specifications, schedule and budget.
    • Undertake project value engineering to ensure cost and schedule are best-in- class, while adhering to the relevant specifications, standards and applicable codes.

    Project Interface Engineer

    Job Description

    • Ensure that all the different contracts effectively connect with each other at their boundary points to assure that the entire project functions seamlessly as one and delivering on overall system objectives.
    • Responsible for identifying and cataloging the interface requirements at contract boundaries and ensure that this is communicated to and followed up with the concerned work parties including company and contractor.

    E&I Supervisor

    Job Description
    Be responsible for follow up and supervision of Contractor for Electrical and Instrumentation construction, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Ensure that the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) works performed by Contractor and Sub-contractors complies with contract specification and quality requirements.

    ACTIVITIES 

    • Follow up and supervise the electrical and instrumentation works at the SITE to ensure compliance with applicable design specification, drawings and contract requirements. 
    • Liaise with IKIKE Engineering Team on any electrical and instrumentation engineering issues for resolution or clarification of contract / design requirements and specification as may be required. 
    • Review and comment as required on project documents: Method Statements, Work Procedure and any other Contractor / Subcontractor deliverables in due time as may be required. 
    • Review and analyse work planning and schedule updates for the discipline’s project activities, in coordination with the COMPANY Project Control team, in order to ensure effective work planning, optimise and avoid clashes in work sequences. 
    • Monitor the expected versus achieved works progress, focusing on potentials for delay and adequacy of resources; and proactively highlight any schedule issues, and promptly propose resolutions, in order to avoid blocking points on the works. 
    • Follow up to ensure that site modifications are requested, approved, implemented and properly documented for as-built in accordance with approved project procedures. 
    • Performance surveillance on electrical and instrumentation works at the SITE, ensuring issue of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for any observed non-conformance and follow up for NCR timely closure. 
    • Participate as required at inspections, audits, etc., on behalf of Company, 
    • Ensure that clarifications, derogations, technical queries, etc., regarding electrical and instrumentation design of the buoy are properly treated in line with Company specifications and procedure, providing timely responses to the contractor/subcontractor and vendors. 
    • Be proactive in reporting and highlighting areas of concern in the discipline and making recommendations on corrective actions. 
    • Liaise with the other disciplines: Structures, Piping, Mechanical, etc., as necessary for realisation of the PLANT. 
    • Participate in project meetings at the SITE. 
    • Follow up field engineering and ensure red mark-up of detailed engineering documents for achievement of as-built dossiers accordingly. 
    • Follow up and supervise execution of tests, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities related to Electrical and Instrumentation Systems at SITE 
    • Ensure detailed activities and progress reporting by issuing regular reports to hierarchy, any specific project reports, presentations, etc., as applicable or required for the works. 
    • Pursue realisation of HSE objectives defined as defined by Project 

    Requirements

    • Graduate Bachelor’s degree holder (BSc or BEng), or equivalent, in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
    • Minimum of 7 years working experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with good experience in engineering designs and execution at construction phase.
    • Good knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations for electrical and instrumentation engineering and construction.

    Multidiscipline Inspector

    Job Description
    ACTIVITIES

    • Perform welding, non-destructive test and painting inspection in accordance with approved ITP.
    • Responsible for timely inspection during fabrication, proactive in the prevention of  non-conformance and problem resolution.
    • Ensure that required non-destructive test is done on structural and piping welds.
    • Review radiographic films and NDT reports.
    • Monitor welding of piping spools and structural members.
    • Perform in process and final welding inspection.
    • Check calibration of measuring instrument at worksite.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline with 5 years minimum experience in  welding, painting and NDT inspection role in the Oil and Gas Industry
    • Minimum 7 years of working experience in Oil and Gas industry construction activities.
    • Minimum of NACE level 2 or equivalent, CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI and NDT Level 2 in RT, PT, MT and  UT.
    • Good knowledge of Total technical referential and HSE Golden Rules. Good knowledge of welding  processes.

    ACTIVITIES Monitor the implementation of the approved Contractor and Sub-contractor Project HSE Plan and referenced procedures including bridging documents. Participate at Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis studies dedicated to construction operations and ensure they comply with related

Monitor the implementation of control measures identified during risk analyses while carrying out fabrication and construction activities. Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents to determine their underlying causes, report anomalies and check corrective actions. Monitor the implementation of actions arising from incident, accident, audit and inspection analyses and lessons learnt. Check and ensure that first aid materials and equipment are available at the SITE. Carry out any other duties or tasks as assigned by the hierarchy. HSE

    Facilities Engineer

    Job Description
    WTS Energy is seeking to hrie Facilities Engineer for one of its client who is a reputed Oil & Gas service company.

    Duration: 2 to 3 months contract (may be extendable)

    • We require a facilities engineer with experience of working on mature assets, ideally with experience in optimizing existing facilities especially in the areas of water and crude handling. 
    • The asset we are looking at is in Nigerian swamp terrain, so any specific experience in this area would be extremely ideal.
    • Appreciation of general facilities maintenance activities.

    Available position:

    Senior Project Engineer

    Position Overview:

    To coordinate and manage medium-sized project, Facilities Modification and Improvement on Oil & Gas Facilities, or small number of projects as assigned by the Head of project or Project Manager, all in line with company business objectives. This will involve production of plans, documentation and the provision of guidance for project teams and ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met and benefits realised from the implementation of the change. The objective is to carry out all projects safely, on time, and within budget.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Responsible for delivery of the identified project within schedule, cost, and to the agreed quality.
    • Prepare project budget and schedule in accordance with Seplat's Contractual Requirements
    • Develop and maintain project execution plan to ensure successful project delivery with respect to HSE, Schedule, Quality and Cost
    • Establish, review, monitor trends and report on all aspects of the project particularly costs, schedules, deliverables, progress and incidents to allow Management intervention when required.
    • Co-ordination of the work to be undertaken by the Main Contractor and sub-contractors as applicable with the goal of achieving contract cost and schedule targets
    • Manage the planning, Contractors’ mobilization to site and the execution of the main and associated works, ensuring adherence to the appropriate Company, Regulatory Requirements, and International standards and specifications and completion on time and within budget.
