HSE Lead (Construction & Operations) at Wisdom Scroll Consulting

• Develop and enforce HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysis (JSA) for construction activities.
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with NESREA, Factory Act, and other Nigerian HSE regulations.
• Monitor environmental impact (waste, dust, noise) and implement mitigation measures.
• Maintain HSE records, permits, and statutory registrations.
• Supervise HSE officers across multiple sites.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 8–12 years in HSE roles, with at least 4 years as a lead in construction.
• Skills: Deep knowledge of Nigerian HSE laws, incident investigation, and safety auditing.
• Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, ISPON (Level 3 or higher) required; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• Other: Must be willing to work on active construction sites
• Experience with Abuja-based projects.
