Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Documentation Support

• Execute daily mining-related administrative tasks as assigned by the Director – Mines
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Submit weekly reports to the Director – Mines

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collate, analyze, and summarize data related to mining operations and raw material consumption
• Prepare reports on project timelines, progress, resource utilization, and operational efficiency
• Identify areas for improvement and support strategic decision-making

Project Coordination

• Facilitate communication between departments and ensure timely execution of mining-related projects
• Support cross-functional collaboration and information flow between mining and other teams

Technical & Strategic Support

• Provide technical assistance to the Director – Mines by researching industry trends, regulations, and best practices
• Assist in strategic planning and decision-making processes

Process Improvement & Manufacturing Insight

• Apply experience in manufacturing operations and process optimization
• Interpret technical data to support operational decisions and efficiency improvements

Educational Qualifications

• Preferred: B.Eng / B.Tech / B.Sc in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Industrial Management, or related technical field

Key Responsibilities

Quality Monitoring & Evaluation

• Oversee quality of granite and marble slabs and tiles throughout the production cycle
• Inspect raw materials and final products for defects, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications
• Monitor cutting, polishing, resin treatment, calibration, and edge finishing processes

Inspection & Classification

• Conduct real-time sampling and testing during production
• Verify finished slabs against approved samples and customer specifications
• Ensure proper QC labeling, classification (commercial/standard/first choice), and bundle packaging

Quality Systems & Documentation

• Develop and maintain QA protocols and procedures
• Document product quality reports, testing processes, and findings
• Ensure compliance with standards such as SON, NAFDAC, NESREA/FMEnv, ISO, etc.

Defect Tracking & Analysis

• Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate tools
• Align test plans with project requirements and market standards
• Conduct root-cause investigations and recommend corrective actions

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and submit to the Director – Mines
• Use Excel and ERP systems to generate templates and dashboards
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively across teams

Educational Qualifications

Preferred: B.Eng / B.Sc in Quality Management, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or related technical field
