    Biomedical Engineer

    At Unique Instruments & Science Co. Ltd (UIS), we are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical and laboratory equipment, all while providing exceptional service to our healthcare clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform the installation, calibration, and commissioning of advanced biomedical equipment at client sites.
    • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance services, ensuring the optimal functionality of medical and laboratory equipment.
    • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide on-site solutions promptly.

    Qualifications

This role will involve managing complex client relationships, mentoring a team of sales professionals, and representing UIS at key industry events.     Procurement Officer

    About the Role

    At Unique Instruments & Science Co. Ltd (UIS), we’re at the forefront of delivering advanced healthcare and laboratory solutions. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Procurement Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that our clients receive quality solutions on time, every time.

    You will be responsible for the entire procurement cycle, from sourcing and quoting to delivery and inventory management. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Quotation Management: Prepare accurate sales quotes tailored to customer specifications.
    • Order Fulfillment: Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including: 
      • Sending purchase orders (POs) to OEMs.
      • Tracking goods in transit.
      • Overseeing customs clearance and port processes.
      • Ensuring timely delivery to client sites.
    • Inventory and Stock Control: Collaborate with the accounts team to monitor stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory management.
    • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with supplier and other vendors to ensure quality services.
    • Supplier Performance: Evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, pricing, and delivery standards.
    • Tracking and Reporting: Provide regular updates on procurement status and maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier interactions.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare or laboratory solutions sector.
    • Proven expertise in order fulfillment processes, including import/export and customs clearance.
    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier offers effectively.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
