Salary: ₦600,000 – ₦800,000

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and support strategic financial management. The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting expertise, tax knowledge, and professional certification with ICAN.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Manage tax computations, filings, and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations.
• Oversee general ledger activities and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• Supervise accounting operations and provide guidance to junior finance staff.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ICAN qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
