We are seeking an Operations Manager (contract) with at least 6 years relevant experience to manage oil and gas operations in Delta State and other cities. This position will be based in Lagos, with frequent travel to Delta State and other cities. 

Requirements & Job Description

• BSc in Engineering with 6 to 10 years of oil and gas production/reservoir experience in the upstream industry
• Responsible for the overall operations and logistics
• Manage team consisting of Production Supervisors, Logistics/Safety Officers, Operators and Engineers to oversee the overall operations, planning, and monitoring of the production facilities.
• Ensure goal of increasing production, improving quality, and ensuring safety of all staff and contractors
• Maintain current knowledge of industry technology and trends, and understand the impact on the region and the business
• Frequently visit production and storage facilities in Delta State to discuss safety, production, operations, and maintenance goals
• Report to Executive team regarding production goals, budget, and forecast

Description:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer, preferably with experience in the downstream and/or upstream sector of the oil and gas industry.

• Job Description & Requirements
• Must have an HND/BSc/Masters in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
• Must have 3 to 6 years relevant experience in Civil/Structural Engineering. Oil and gas experience in the downstream and/or upstream sector a major plus.
• Must be able to travel frequently to various locations in Lagos, Delta, and other cities as needed.
• Complete technical civil design and engineering tasks in various sites such as production facilities, tank farms/depot, rig sites, filling stations, etc.
• Assist technical staff with production, operations, and HSSE duties.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement projects.

Job Requirements:

• Must have an OND/HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree related to Electrical Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution. 

Brief Job Description:​

• Develop, plan, and coordinate electrical engineering works for power projects.
• Manage electrical engineering projects in all aspects of power generation, transmission, and distribution including maintenance, protection, controls, and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with other internal departments and external parties in completing multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop electrical engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates; as well as prepare written technical reports relating to work.
• Must be able to travel frequently to various locations in Delta, Lagos, and other cities as needed.
