Greenco Foods – Packing Supervisor at Green Space Farms (GSF)

The Packing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the packing operations of our Products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. This role involves managing a team of Egg cleaners, packers, coordinating with production and logistics, and maintaining accurate records of packaging activities.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily packing operations of Fresh Eggs from the farm, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to fulfil the order and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all items are correctly labelled, packed, and stored according to company and food safety standards.
• Monitor packaging inventory and liaise with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Train, guide, and manage packing staff to maintain productivity and hygiene.
• Conduct regular quality checks and maintain accurate records for traceability.
• Enforce health and safety standards in line with HACCP and internal policies.
• Troubleshoot issues within the packing line and implement process improvements as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production or food packaging environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good leadership skill and 
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and packaging procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., Ms. excel or inventory systems).

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000 monthly (based on experience)
