    Head, Financial Control, Reporting & Analysis

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    • The job role of Head Financial Control, Reporting & Analysis is critical to ensure that the company's accounts are well prepared, analyzed and presented for accuracy, completeness and integrity.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Supervises day-to-day accounting operations and book-keeping including Spend Management, Receivables, etc.
    • Supervises the preparation Of management accounts.
    • Ensures appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
    • Ensures accurate recording and appropriate treatment of accounting data, including processing Of payables, credit adjustments on receivables, assets, inventory, etc
    • Provides periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis for stakeholders.
    • Maintain relationships with external auditors, regulatory authorities and other government agencies
    • Oversees the coordination Of all Business Hub and HQ Accounts in line with company policy.
    • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
    • Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Requirernents

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounts or any related field.
    • An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
    • Membership of at least one of the following professional bodies is required: Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
    • At least IO years' post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounts (particularly in financial control, reporting, management).
    • Technical Competencies
    • Strong understanding of the business of BEDC and related businesses in the electricity sector.
    • Strong knowledge Of regulatory stipulations vis-å-vis financial statement.
    • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
    • Robust asset management skills.
    • Revenue/Expenditure Management.
    • Knowledge Of all relevant Financial Management processes.
    • Strong financial and business acumen.
    • Financial, Management and Cost Accounting.
    • Accounting Policies & Standards.
    • Business Performance Management
    • Financial Management Process knowledge (Accounts Payable/ Receivable)
    • Knowledge of relevant accounting software/ applications

    Call Centre Agent

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    • The role of the Call Centre Agent is critical in improving customer satisfaction by providing timely support and ensuring quick resolution Of customer complaints.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Manage inbound calls in a timely and professional manner
    • Raise requisite complaint ticket appropriately and assign these complaints to the appropriate Departments
    • Provide informed feedback to general enquiries and requests on products and services
    • Professionally and courteously receive and log all interactions (verbal and written) on CRM ensuring that the complaints are as detailed as possible
    • Responsible for receipts and documentation of all customer complaints.
    • Promote Customer-centric image and build business relationships with Customers
    • Proactively identifying trends and making recommendations to Head, Customer Care
    • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Engineering or any other related courses.
    • A minimum Of 1-3 years Of work experience in similar role.
    • Good Knowledge and experience in the power sector will be added advantage.
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

    HSE Officer

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    • The role of the HSE Officer is critical in ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance, environmental protection, and incident prevention across all the organization.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Conduct HSE Training programs
    • Ensure compliance obligations with HSE Regulations
    • Compile and maintain Incident/Accident Register
    • Investigate and present Reports Of all incidents/accidents as required
    • Identify hazardous wastes/Substances and disposing them according to environmental guidelines
    • Enforce compliance with the Company's PPE Policy
    • Implement preventative measures to ensure unsafe processes do not reoccur
    • Conduct Safety Meetings, Tool-box, and Pep-talks at regular intervals.
    • Conduct emergency evacuation/response procedures.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • A BSc/BEng/BTech/HND in Engineering other related fields.
    • Minimum Of 3 years' work experience in the role or similar roles
    • Membership of ISPON is compulsory. Other Professional certifications are added advantage.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
