IT Officer at Kursi Investments Ltd

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with hands-on experience in computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
• Provide technical support to users and resolve day-to-day IT-related problems.
• Ensure the security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access control management.
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure system reliability, compliance, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support or system/network administration.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Good understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity principles, and IT best practices.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) will be an added advantage.
