    Human Resource (HR) Executive / Payroll Administrator

    Location: Awka, Anambra

    Job Summary

    • We're looking to hire a HR Executive/ Payroll Administrator in Awka, Anambra State.
    • The HR Executive/ Payroll Administartor should be proactive and organized to support the HR Lead in executing day to day HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and employee engagement.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and staff induction
    • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases
    • Help prepare HR documents (contracts, letters, policies)
    • Monitor staff attendance, leave requests, and disciplinary actions
    • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
    • Coordinate training schedules and employee communications
    • Assist with payroll inputs and benefits administration
    • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of HR files

    Requirements

    • BSc or HND in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration and HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Solid understanding of payroll processes and statutory deductions
    • Experience managing employee records, leave administration, and HR documentation
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR or payroll software
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee data
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.

    HR Assistant

    Location: Awka, Anambra

    Job Summary

    • We are currently seeking a HR Assistant at our facility in Awka, Anambra State, to support the HR department in managing documents, handling clerical duties, and performing other assigned tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the HR department in creating and preparing documents, such as employee handbooks, policies, and job descriptions
    • Assist in payroll administration and other HR based tasks.
    • Manage office and clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
    • Collect and maintain employee data, including personal information and job roles.
    • Assist with recruitment tasks, including posting job vacancies and scheduling interviews.
    • Support the onboarding process for new employees.
    • Handle general office tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing mail, and maintaining office equipment.
    • Conduct footwork as assigned, such as delivering documents, running office errands, and liaising with other departments.
    • Maintain confidentiality when handling data and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Minimum of HND in related fields.
    • At least 1 year proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace and other technological tools.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
    • Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of tasks as needed.
