    Foreman

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Foreman to supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities for our real estate projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workers, ensuring quality workmanship, enforcing safety standards, and delivering projects according to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise daily on-site construction activities and workforce.
    • Assign tasks to artisans and labourers and monitor performance.
    • Interpret drawings, specifications, and work schedules accurately.
    • Ensure construction works meet required quality standards.
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
    • Monitor material usage and report shortages or wastage.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
    • Inspect completed work and resolve site issues promptly.
    • Keep daily site records, progress reports, and attendance logs.
    • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled and stored.
    • Enforce company policies and site discipline.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Foreman in building construction.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
    • Good leadership and team management skills.
    • Basic knowledge of HSE standards and site safety practices.
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Technical certification or trade qualification is an added advantage.

    Storekeeper

    Job Summary: 

    The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the storage, inventory, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies used in the company\'s project sites. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained, records are accurate, and materials are available for use when needed, supporting the efficient operation of the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
    • Verify delivery notes and purchase orders against received items.
    • Report any discrepancies or damages to the Site Manager and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
    • Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure easy access and efficient space utilization.
    • Ensure that materials and supplies are stored in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
    • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to staff as required.
    • Maintain accurate records of issued items, including date, quantity, and recipient.
    • Coordinate the timely distribution of materials to various project sites.
    • Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to the Site Manager.
    • Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to forecast inventory needs.
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory officer, or in a similar role.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to inventory management.
    • ND/NCE or its equivalent
