    Program Manager (Expat) - Oil & Gas Pipeline Project

    Requirements

    • Expatriate with 15+ years of experience in oil & gas project management, including 10+ years in pipeline projects
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master's/MBA is a plus)
    • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (Mandatory)
    • Experience with International Oil Companies (IOCs), PMC, or EPCM projects
    • Strong knowledge of API, ASME, ISO standards and HSE regulations
    • Proven leadership in large-scale, multidisciplinary projects
    • An exceptional opportunity for a senior expatriate Program Manager to lead the execution of a major oil & gas pipeline project in Nigeria.

    This full-time, 3-year contract role (with possible extension) requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and budget.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee end-to-end execution of the pipeline project
    • Act as the primary interface between client, contractors & stakeholders
    • Ensure technical oversight, compliance & risk management
    • Manage budget, financials, and cost control
    • Lead a multicultural team to ensure operational excellence
    • Develop & implement program strategies & execution plans
    • Requires expatriate experience in Africa or similar regions
    • Field visits & stakeholder engagements required

    Risk Manager (Expat) - Oil & Gas Pipeline Project

    Requirements

    • Expatriate with 15+ years of experience in risk management within the oil & gas sector (pipeline projects preferred)
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Risk Management, or Business Administration
    • Professional certifications like PMI- RMP, FRM or equivalent
    • Strong knowledoe of PMBOK, PRIN E2, and risk modeling tools (e.g., Primavera Risk)
    • Expertise in safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance

    Role

    • We are looking for an experienced Expatriate Risk Manager to lead risk identification, mitigation, and compliance for a high-profile oil & gas pipeline project. This role is crucial to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with global standards across design, construction, and operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify & assess technical, financial, regulatory, and geopolitical risks
    • Develop & implement mitigation strategies & contingency plans
    • Communicate risk insights to leadership & stakeholders
    • Ensure compliance with international oil & gas industry regulations
    • Conduct contract & supplier risk assessments

    Working Conditions:

    • Location: Nigeria
    • Expatriate role with potential field visits to remote project sites
    • Extended work hours & flexibility may be required
    • Full-time/contract position with long-term project involvement
