    Field Operations Officer (HR Representative)

    About the Role

    • HR Leverage is seeking a disciplined and proactive Field Operations Officer with a background in retail operations or store supervision.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing deployed staff, monitoring workplace discipline, ensuring policy compliance, and serving as the communication bridge between HR Leverage and the client.
    • This role is best suited for someone who has previously supervised or managed operations in retail, fashion outlets, supermarkets, or similar environments — and can apply that experience to monitoring staff behavior, discipline, and compliance from an HR perspective.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the HR Leverage on-site representative, monitoring deployed staff at the client’s location.
    • Supervise and report on staff attendance, punctuality, appearance, and general workplace conduct.
    • Use your retail operations experience to identify performance gaps and behavioral issues.
    • Enforce workplace discipline and support HR policy compliance among staff.
    • Address staff-related issues, concerns, or conflicts and escalate appropriately.
    • Collaborate with HR Leverage’s internal team to implement staff improvement plans or disciplinary actions
    • Relay internal memos, changes in shift or work structure, and any HR communication to staff.
    • Support onboarding of new staff, including orientation and documentation.
    • Submit daily or weekly reports on staffing updates and operational observations.
    • Liaise professionally with client representatives while maintaining HR Leverage’s interests.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience managing or supervising operations in a retail/fashion/supermarket environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience dealing with frontline staff, customer-facing roles, or shift-based teams.
    • Reliable, mature, and able to handle fieldwork independently.
    • Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel, and other basic communication/reporting tools.

    Overview

    • The Admin/HR Assistant supports day-to-day administrative tasks and assist in HR functions, ensuring smooth internal operations.
    • This role is vital to keeping records, coordinating staff matters, handling documentation, and supporting a positive workplace culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update employee records, files, and attendance.

    Requirements

    • Basic knowledge of HR practices and Nigerian labor standards is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
