IfeanHealth Orthopedics is looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, designing and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices, and overseeing patient care from initial consultation through to follow-up. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing patients’ quality of life by restoring mobility and functionality through customized solutions. As a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist at IfeanHealth, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to ensure the highest level of care and support, utilizing the latest technology and materials.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to determine their needs for prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices based on individual patient requirements.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding the use and care of devices.
• Conduct regular follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress and adjust devices as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Stay updated on advancements in prosthetics and orthotics technology and techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a prosthetist and orthotist.
• Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and current technologies in the field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
