Job Summary

• We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe and timely manner.
• The delivery driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
• The ideal delivery driver should be polite and committed to providing our customers with an excellent experience.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries

Requirements

• NCE, HD or School Certificate.
• 3 - 7 years of experience as a van salesman or similar.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work
• Clean driving record.
• Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles.
• Experience may be required or preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
• Good time management and customer service skills
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be residing in Ibafo, Asese and Mowe environs, along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Ogun state.

Job Brief

• The ideal candidate should be able to develop and modify customer frequency plans as needed in advancing primary and secondary sales.

Responsibilites

• Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales merchandiser of an assigned territory.
• Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
• Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Carrying out both primary and secondary sales
• Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
• Meeting potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
• Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
• Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
• Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a B.Sc, HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in the FMCG Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous experience in the territory is required.
