Responsibilities
To support Diadem Consults Initiative Ltd/GTE, achieve the following:
Support the integration of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services (Pre & Post exposure prophylaxis services, ART, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Cryotherapy and screening for co-morbidities e.g. cervical cancer screening, TB screening, Hepatitis screening) to Key Populations in line with current World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and national guidelines both at the One-Stop-Shop and through community ART teams and report performance indicators as appropriate.
Ensures quality clinical related services are provided at the facility and community level in an ethically, legally and morally sound environment for the benefit of the clients in care. This includes enrolment, retention and viral suppression of all HIV positive clients identified within the program.
Effectively manage and supervise other healthcare service providers including proper data documentation, collation, review and analysis at the field or community andwithintheOSS.
Advise project team on national and state policies, procedures and licensing requirements and ensure compliance with all requirements and/or mandatory inspections.
Supervise weekly/monthly clinical staff meetings, Integrate OSS and mobile ART services with other project activities to enhance the achievement of outcomes.
Provide support to the M&E unit to manage data collection for service delivery to Key Populations in project communities using nationally approved tools.
Supports the program officer/assistant in managing the activities of the community facilitators, peer educators, counselor testers, and community mobilizers in achieving set program targets
Ensure timely submission of quality reports on monthly and quarterly basis or as required.
Support the development of work plans, SOPs for clinical services at the community and facility level.
Document accurate and concise clinical summary that outlines reasons for visit, decisions reached, relevant client history and follow up appointments with timescale given to client.
Doubles as the Focal person for PrEP and Cryotherapy in achieving assigned program target including proper electronic and hard-copy documentations and reporting
Ensure consistency, thoroughness and quality in service delivery and treatment documentation.
Ensure monthly data quality assessment are carried out along with the M&E officer, proffer solution for immediate remedial actions and comply with those recommendation.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the State team lead.
Requirements
MBBS
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HIV-related medical services.
Experience working with high-risk groups is an added advantage.
