Dental Nurse at Dovers Dental Clinic

Dovers Dental Clinic is seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Dental Nurse to join our growing team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The successful candidate will support dentists in delivering high-quality dental care, maintain excellent infection control standards, and contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for patients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental examinations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
• Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control procedures
• Support patient preparation before treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation
• Monitor inventory of dental materials and supplies
• Ensure treatment areas remain clean, organized, and professional at all times

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients professionally
• Help patients feel comfortable and reassured during treatment
• Provide post-treatment instructions where appropriate
• Support patient education on oral health and preventive care
• Assist with appointment coordination and patient follow-up when required

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in clinic educational and promotional activities
• Participate in clinic photos, videos, and content creation activities when required
• Support clinic outreach, branding, and patient engagement initiatives
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as assigned
• Contribute positively to teamwork and clinic growth

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification in Dental Nursing, Dental Surgery Assisting, Dental Therapy, or related field
• Valid professional certification where applicable
• Previous dental clinic experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Commitment to patient care and professional ethics
