    Chief Business Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Chief Business Officer will be responsible for growing the loan book, mobilising deposits, increasing revenue, and leading all sales, business development, and marketing activities.
    • This is a performance-driven role in an entrepreneurial environment, the ideal candidate will be someone who can build structures, drive business, and deliver results, not just manage existing systems.
    • All Sales Team Leads, Business Development, and Marketing functions will report directly to the Chief Business Officer.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the overall business growth of the company
    • Drive loan book expansion across retail and SME lending
    • Drive deposit mobilisation and liability growth
    • Own and deliver monthly and annual targets for Assets, Liabilities, and Gross Income
    • Supervise all sales teams and business development officers
    • Oversee booking of all loans and deposits in line with company targets
    • Drive customer acquisition through sales, partnerships, and marketing
    • Lead marketing, social media, and customer growth strategy
    • Develop and execute business expansion plans
    • Work closely with Risk, Operations, and Collections to maintain portfolio quality
    • Build and manage strong sales pipelines
    • Introduce new business channels and partnerships
    • Ensure strict performance management across all business teams
    • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to Management
    • Support development of new products based on market opportunities
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

    Personal Specification

    • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is an advantage
    • Minimum of 8–12 year’s experience in lending, microfinance, fintech, or banking
    • Strong experience in retail loans and SME lending
    • Proven track record of growing loan book and deposits
    • Experience leading sales or business teams
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
    • Must have ability to build structures and drive growth
    • Experience in microfinance, finance company, or growth-stage business is an advantage
    • Strong leadership and execution skills
    • Good understanding of credit, risk, and collections

    Sales Executive

    Job Summary

    • The role requires a professional who understands technical products and can translate complex engineering solutions into clear business value for clients.
    • Sales executives in technical industries combine product knowledge with relationship building to guide clients through complex B2B purchasing decisions.

    Qualifications/Specifications

    • Bachelor’s or HND degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Engineering or technical background is an advantage.
    • 4–7 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
    • Experience selling solutions in Building Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP, ELV systems, Energy Management, Construction, or Data Centre Infrastructure.
    • Strong technical sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
    • Ability to explain complex engineering concepts in simple terms.
    • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.
    • Self-driven with strong commercial awareness.

    Business Development Manager

    Job Summary

    • This senior role bridges the gap between world-class engineering capabilities and new business opportunities, building brand authority and a structured sales pipeline across multiple sectors in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a 12–36-month business development strategy aligned with regional expansion.
    • Identify high-value opportunities across solution pillars including BMS, Smart Hospitality, Energy Management, Home Automation & AV, Safety & Security, and Green Building Certifications.
    • Build and maintain a structured, data-driven sales pipeline using CRM tools.
    • Set quarterly and annual revenue, margin, and pipeline coverage targets.
    • Lead integrated marketing programs to establish industry thought leadership.
    • Develop content assets: case studies, white papers, technical presentations, and solution briefs.
    • Enhance digital presence via website content, LinkedIn thought leadership, and targeted campaigns.

    • Develop alliances with consultants, EPC contractors, property developers, and facility management companies.
    • Support operational expansion, pricing strategy, and commercial models across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

    Personal Specifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Project Management is a plus.
    • Minimum 7 years of business development, sales, or commercial management experience in building automation, ELV systems, energy management, MEP, or system integration.
    • Proven track record of winning and managing technical project sales (deal values ₦200M+ or equivalent).
    • Experience developing marketing strategies and preparing technical-commercial proposals.
    • Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and digital marketing/digital tools.
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
    • Familiarity with BMS platforms (Schneider EcoStruxure, Honeywell Niagara, Siemens Desigo) is an advantage.
    • Sales methodology certifications (SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC) are desirable.
    • Existing professional network across Nigerian hospitality, real estate, oil & gas, manufacturing, or banking sectors.
    • Experience building and leading a small commercial or sales team.
    • Willingness to travel 30–40% across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
