    Admin Officer

    Responsibilities
    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Supervise the day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the office runs efficiently.
    • Coordinate daily administrative operations, including filing, scheduling, correspondence and office supply management.
    • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes as required.
    • Support recruitment efforts by assisting in candidate shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and onboarding processes.
    • Manage records, databases and documentation—both physical and electronic.
    • Efficiently handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, physical mail, faxes, parcels), ensuring timely distribution.
    • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial report preparation.
    • Manage petty cash systems, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
    • Provide support to departments such as HR, finance and procurement through document processing and logistics.
    • Facilitate communication between departments and with external stakeholders.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and administrative protocols.
    • Maintain office cleanliness and ensure all office equipment and systems are functioning properly.
    • Support event planning and coordination, including training and staff meetings.
    • Prepare accurate reports, spreadsheets and presentations when needed.
    • Handle incoming and outgoing communications professionally.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management or a related field.
    • A minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in an administrative support role, with a strong preference for experience within the hospitality industry.

    Maintenance Manager

    Responsibilities
    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all resturant and hotel systems, equipment, and facilities to minimize breakdowns and extend asset lifespan.
    • Contribute to the overall operational strategy of the restaurant and hotel, providing expert advice on engineering and maintenance matters.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance schedules, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and deliverable.
    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities (e.g., plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, elevators, lighting).
    • Work with external contractors, service providers, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution of maintenance projects and procurement of necessary parts.
    • Establish and manage a framework for monitoring maintenance activities, tracking performance against key indicators such as downtime, repair costs, and equipment lifespan.
    • Ensure prompt and efficient response to all guest and internal department maintenance requests, prioritizing critical issues.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance documentation, including work orders, repair logs, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and budget details.
    • Assist in tracking maintenance budgets, ensuring expenses stay within scope and reporting any variances as needed.
    • Conduct regular inspections and site visits to monitor the quality of maintenance work, assess the condition of facilities and equipment, and ensure compliance.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, industry standards, and local building codes for all maintenance operations.
    • Communicate regularly with relevant departments and management, keeping them informed of maintenance status, planned works, and potential disruptions.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of equipment, facilities, and work practices.
    • Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team, facilitating regular meetings and ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices.
    • Contribute to post-maintenance reviews, documenting lessons learned, and making recommendations for asset lifecycle improvements and operational enhancements.
    • Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing holding costs.
    • Implement a system for tracking and managing hotel assets, including maintenance schedules and depreciation.
    • Research and recommend new technologies or equipment that could improve efficiency, guest comfort, or cost savings.
    • Assist in procurement processes specific to maintenance, including preparing specifications, reviewing proposals, and coordinating contracts for parts, tools, and services.

    Requirement

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related technical field is required; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CEM, CFM) is a significant advantage.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in maintenance management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
    • Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.

    Required Competencies:

    • Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for technical explanations.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency repairs effectively.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing issues and performing repairs.
    • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset for complex technical challenges.
    • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a technical team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse operational teams and external vendors.

    Human Resources Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and department heads, providing HR insights and support to achieve business objectives.
    • Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organization.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for various roles.
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating with department heads.
    • Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their roles and familiarize them with company culture, policies, and procedures.
    • Coordinate with department heads to facilitate job-specific training.
    • Identify training needs across departments and develop or source appropriate training programs.
    • Support career development and succession planning within the organization.
    • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, goal setting and feedback.
    • Address performance issues proactively and ensure fair and consistent disciplinary actions when necessary.
    • Administer payroll processing in conjunction with the finance department.
    • Implement and oversee performance review processes, goal setting, and continuous feedback mechanisms to foster employee growth and productivity.
    • Identify training needs, develop and deliver HR-related training programs (e.g., orientation, service standards, compliance), and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
    • Administer compensation structures, payroll processes, and employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
    • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant Nigerian labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, prepare HR reports, and manage all necessary HR documentation.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, foster a positive work culture, and promote recognition programs.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional HR certification like CIPM is highly preferred).
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a experience within the hospitality industry.
