Unit Head, Sales and Distribution – Agent/Merchant Business
Merchant/Agent Onboarding – Develop and implement strategies to acquire and onboard Active merchants/Agents while adhering to regulatory and AML standards.
Terminal Deployment and Support – Coordinate the deployment, maintenance and support of networks of all POS terminals for Merchants/Agents. Facilitation of training of merchants/Agents.
Sales and Business Development – Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities to enhance value propositions for Agents/Merchants. Develop and implement robust sales & distribution strategy for immediate terminal deployment and support.
Team Leadership and Strategic Partnerships – Collaborate with cross functional teams and key external partners to deliver a seamless operation for Agents/merchants. Lead/mentor the team of sales and distribution officers to achieve business objectives.
Compliance and Risk management – Stay abreast of regulatory trend and analyzing impacts for immediate strategic shifts. Conduct regular audits and review of the business/structure to maintain high quality standards of service.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance or related fields. A master’s degree, MBA or relevant professional certification is also preferred.
Minimum of 7 years in Sales, Business development, Supply chain Management with experience in the Fintech industry.
Proven track record in Merchant/Agent Business in Nigeria.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian Banking sector, customer behaviour and market dynamics.
