Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Technician to join our team in the oil and gas marine services sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. The role requires a team player who can perform effectively under pressure and contribute to maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical failures in marine systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in marine equipment.
• Interpret and utilize electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics for system analysis and repair.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components.
• Utilize laptops and software tools (Microsoft Word and Excel) for documentation and reporting.
• Conduct training and provide guidance to team members on technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet operational deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
• Hands-on experience with marine electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in using a laptop for documentation and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for record-keeping and reporting.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in the oil and gas marine services sector.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing marine hydraulic systems.
