The Team Lead, Corporate Finance will Lead the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Finance team, manage projects, and ensure timely completion of tasks related to M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the corporate finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Manage team performance, development, and career progression.
Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the bank’s objectives.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee the execution of major financial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising initiatives.
Ensure thorough due diligence, accurate financial modeling, and effective negotiation processes.
Provide financial advisory services to clients, including structuring and optimizing financial solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Identify and manage financial risks related to corporate finance activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Work closely with other departments, including risk management, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment on corporate finance strategies and initiatives.
Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
Handles market Research & Opportunity Identification, Due diligence and valuation
Provide financial insights for corporate growth, capital allocation, and risk management
Post-capitalization integration processes and performance tracking
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CFA, ICAN, or ACCA are preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields within the banking industry.
Proven experience in managing financial transactions, financial analysis, and advisory services.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
Proficient in financial analysis tools and software.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to handle Financial Analysis & Valuation, Risk management, regulatory compliance, and tax optimization
