    Team Lead, Business Development (Fund Mobilization)

    Job Summary

    • As the Business Development Manager focusing on funds mobilization, you will be tasked with driving the financial growth of the institution through strategic fundraising, client acquisition, and relationship management.
    • This role requires a deep understanding of the financial markets, an extensive network in the finance industry, and strong skills in client engagement.

    Principal Duties / Responsibilities

    • Funds Mobilization Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to mobilize funds from institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and other key market players.
    • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and engage with potential investors, establish strong relationships, and maintain regular communication to secure and retain funding.
    • Portfolio Growth: Actively expand the institution's investor portfolio by introducing new sources of capital and leveraging existing networks to achieve growth targets.
    • Partnerships & Collaborations: Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including financial institutions, investment firms, and corporate organizations, to enhance fundraising efforts.
    • Market Research & Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and adapt fundraising strategies.

    Job Requirements
    Skills & Qualifications:
    Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the finance industry, with a specific focus on funds mobilization.
    • Proven track record of securing substantial funds from investors, corporate bodies, or institutions.

    Technical & Functional Skills:

    • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the fundraising landscape.
    • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to create and execute strategic fundraising plans.
    • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards within the finance industry.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
