• As a Male Student Life Staff Member, you will play a vital role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community, providing guidance, and promoting student well-being.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a parental figure and role model for students residing in the hostel.
• Create a safe and inclusive living environment that promotes students' well-being and personal development.
• Supervise and maintain discipline, ensuring adherence to hostel rules and policies.
• Assist with daily routines, including waking up, meal times, study hours, and bedtime.
• Provide guidance and support to students, addressing their emotional, academic, and social needs.
• Foster a sense of community and organize activities that promote social interaction and personal growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or relevant experience is a plus.
• Previous experience working with students in a residential or youth development setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, building rapport with students and creating a nurturing environment.
• Understanding of child and adolescent development and the ability to support students' social-emotional growth.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Ability to enforce rules and boundaries while maintaining a caring and respectful approach.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call as needed.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred but not mandatory).
