    SEO Manager

    About the Role

    • As our SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that boost organic growth for Wildfire and our clients.
    • You’ll collaborate with our content, design, and development teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for search and deliver sustainable traffic growth.
    • This is a hybrid role. You’ll work remotely most of the time but must be available for occasional in-office collaboration at our Ilupeju office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • SEO Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies for Wildfire and client projects.
    • Keyword Research: Identify high-value keywords and optimize content around them.
    • On-page Optimization: Optimize website structures, metadata, internal linking, and content for maximum visibility.
    • Technical SEO: Collaborate with developers to ensure proper site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
    • Content Collaboration: Work with writers to ensure blog posts, landing pages, and marketing content are SEO-friendly.
    • Link Building: Implement ethical link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Prepare regular reports with actionable insights.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a digital agency or tech company.
    • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
    • Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.).
    • Solid understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console, and keyword research methods.
    • Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
    • Ability to analyze data and present insights in a clear way.
    • Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
    • Must be comfortable with a hybrid work setup.
