    Senior Research Executive

    Location: Ikorodu Road, Lagos

    Purpose of the Role

    • In collaboration with the Account Manager, you will take responsibility for the design, execution and delivery of quantitative research projects (both adhoc and tracking), from responding to a brief to presenting the findings through insight reports.
    • You will be expected to develop existing business and client relationships, contributing to the success of other team members.

    Role Deliverables

    • Project design: Provide appropriate research methodology, guidance on analysis techniques and sampling designs using the recommended and appropriate Kantar solutions.
    • Project output: Must be capable of writing quantitative reports using data, providing sound research recommendations, “finding the story” ensuring strategic content of conclusions and recommendations, always adding value to the research results
    • Client Management: Acquire relevant client background knowledge, having a very clear understanding of the client business. Focus on relationship building, meeting deadlines, managing general client expectations. You are responsible for liaising with clients on all aspects of a study, from briefing to presentation on a project basis.
    • Project planning and Management: Prioritise project requirements and delivery, determine tasks and actions for the team, allocate resources effectively, schedule and meet deadlines, brief support services, manage and evaluate project progress. Supervise the work of younger team members on project preparation, execution and completion.
    • Team mentoring and training: Identify skills gaps and growth potential of team members, involve senior colleagues and juniors in planning and design of projects, provide on the job training. Provide feedback to younger experienced team members on challenges and successes
    • Quality control: Set standards of excellence to ensure high quality through checking procedures, conduct detailed checks of proposals, questionnaires, data tables, presentations.
    • Presentation: Required to present both insight reports to the marketing and research teams and clients.
    • New business: Responsible for managing new business of existing clients where relationships sit with senior colleagues.

    Role Requirements

    • Completed tertiary education - Degree in Marketing, Arts, Humanities amongst others (preferably Hons)
    • Must have 3-5 years' work experience in the research industry
    • Research acumen
    • Analytical ability with proven numeracy skills
    • Computer literacy - proficiency on all MS Office packages
    • Business writing skills
    • Presentation skills
    • Basic commercial skills (cost and time management).
