Senior Business Analyst at Felton Energy Services Ltd (FESL)

Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a proven track record of leading business analysis activities within the Nigerian energy sector. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience conducting business with NUIMS, NNPC, NUIM Antan, NGC, NEPL, and multiple International Oil Companies (IOCs) on a project basis.
• This role requires deep industry knowledge, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for energy and oil & gas sector projects.
• Gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Create functional specifications, process maps, and business cases.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage high-level stakeholders across NUIMS, NNPC, NUIM Antan, NGC, NEPL, and various IOCs.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and steering committee reviews.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.

Project Delivery

• Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and vendor partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Support project planning, scope definition, and risk assessment.
• Validate deliverables and drive user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Track benefits realization and ensure project outcomes add business value.

Data & Process Optimization

• Analyze operational and business data to identify process inefficiencies.
• Recommend improvements to optimize workflows and decision-making.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within the energy/oil & gas domain.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5–10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the energy, oil & gas, or government-regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience conducting business and managing projects with:
• NUIMS
• NNPC
• NUIM Antan
• NGC
• NEPL
• Major IOCs
• Strong understanding of Nigerian energy-sector operations, compliance, and commercial frameworks.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with industry standards, project management methodologies, and digital transformation tools.
