Backend Developer at a Reputable Company

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performance and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop robust and scalable backend applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless interaction with front-end applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–4 years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel)
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2)
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
