Senior ICT Officer at Seyiloked International Limited (SDIL)

Job Description

• The ICT Officer is responsible for providing technical ICT support in the company and other regions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Country focal point for ICT and contact person for regional and global ICT
• Implement ICT policies and guidelines at office level
• Ensure system security is up-to-date.
• Ensure that network access privileges, applications, data storage and regular backups are configured and maintained
• Implement and update a data disaster recovery plan (back up)
• Schedule computer related services, maintenance and license renewals
• Ensure installation and maintenance of protection services (anti-viruses and firewalls)
• Plan network upgrades, expansions and replacements
• Provide ICT support and trainings to staff
• Participate in the procurement processes of ICT equipment.
• Maintain inventory of ICT equipment, hardware, and software and ensure adequate supply and functionality, in collaboration with relevant staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, Programming, and Information Systems)
• At least 3-6 years Experience from working as an ICT Officer
• IT Certification eg Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Cisco Certified Network Associate ITIL Foundation Certifiedan Extra advantage
• Fluency in English
• Demonstrated capacity in management of network/server software and hardware devices and platforms.
• Grasp of complex network, security, mobile, desktop, server, telephony, backup, application and database technologies.
• Strategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills, with capacity to see the big picture, make sound decisions, and offer non-standard solutions.
