    Senior Business Development Executive - Public Sector

    Job Objective

    • This is not just a role—it’s a mission. As the Senior Business Development Executive & Strategic Right-Hand to the Executive Chairman, you will serve as the Executive Chairman’s closest strategic partner in unlocking public sector opportunities, nurturing high-stakes relationships, and brokering large-scale deals that shape national transformation. You’ll represent the Chairman in boardrooms, at social functions, and in back-channel conversations—working at the intersection of legacy, leadership, and large-ticket value creation. You must be loyal, discreet, agile, and intensely committed to results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as Strategic Relationship Management Partner & Public Sector Deal Catalyst
    • Pursue and unlock high-value public sector deals, programs, and concessions through strategic engagement.
    • Represent the Executive Chairman at high-level meetings, social gatherings, business dinners, and strategic events.
    • Act as the eyes, ears, and voice of the Chairman in key engagements—capturing intelligence and deepening networks.
    • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with top public officials, private sector influencers, and high-net-worth individuals.
    • Broker and close complex deals for consulting, capability-building, legacy projects, and national-scale interventions.
    • Follow through on cold and remote connections—nurturing them persistently into revenue-generating partnerships.
    • Accompany the Chairman on national and international trips—ensuring optimized engagements, strategic conversations, and outcomes.
    • Design and manage soft influence strategies to open doors and keep them open across key government and private sector institutions.
    • Work unconventionally, ethically, and tactically to stay ahead of opportunities and decision-makers.
    • Support and advise the Chairman on deal-making, strategy, and relationship positioning with real-time insights.
    • Deliver reports, memos, and summaries on strategic conversations and public sector developments.
    • Drive execution momentum for high-priority initiatives where the Chairman’s relationships or positioning are key enablers.

    Who You Need to Be to Excel

    • 6–12 years’ experience in business development, government relations, or strategic partnership roles.
    • Exceptional relationship builder—naturally sociable, highly persuasive, and emotionally intelligent.
    • Courageous and strategic—knows how to turn social capital into commercial value without being transactional.
    • Resilient and resourceful—comfortable in high-pressure situations and late-night meetings.
    • Skilled at contract brokering and public-private partnership facilitation.
    • Able to think, speak, and act on behalf of the Chairman with discretion and accuracy.
    • Relentlessly driven—treats this job as a mission, not a routine assignment.
    • Comfortable in elite, informal, and bureaucratic settings—and knows how to navigate each with finesse.
