Senior Associate, Industry Services and Research at Lagos Business School

Lagos Business School (Sustainability Centre) seeks individuals who can drive corporate sustainability and responsible business through impactful research and thought leadership. The role involves engaging senior leaders across sectors to advance sustainable management practices. The individual will also support the development of high-quality teaching materials and research at LBS.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• The Senior Associate, Industry Services and Research will hold a minimum of a Master’s degree, with additional postgraduate training and membership of a relevant professional body considered an advantage.
• The ideal candidate will have at least four (4) years of relevant experience, preferably in sustainability practice, a think tank, a research institute, or a consulting/advisory firm.
• Bring expertise in sustainability, research, business development, and project management.

DUTIES:

The Senior Associate, Industry Services and Research will lead and support initiatives that promote corporate sustainability and responsible business practices. They will conduct and manage research projects, producing high-quality outputs that influence management practice. The role involves engaging with industry leaders, policymakers, and professionals to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. The individual will contribute to developing case studies and teaching materials for academic and executive education. They will support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and building relationships with stakeholders. Project management is key, ensuring timely and effective delivery of initiatives. The role also includes staying updated on global sustainability trends and integrating insights into LBS programmes and research.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to prepare and present their vision, along with a five-year strategy for the School in line with the school’s mission and vision.
