As a Senior Analyst, Institutional Sales, you will serve as a Sales & Client Executive within the Securities Trading business, focused on institutional clients including Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs), insurance companies, corporates, fintech companies, and asset managers without stockbroking affiliates.
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for driving business growth through new client acquisition while managing and expanding existing relationships. S/he will have direct client coverage responsibilities and work closely with senior sales executives and internal stakeholders across the Group to identify and execute strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, prospect, and win new business opportunities from institutional clients across the pension, insurance, corporate, fintech, and asset management sectors.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients while promoting cross-selling opportunities across the Group's investment products and services.
Prepare high-quality pitch books, presentations, Request for Proposals (RFPs), market updates, and other client-facing materials, ensuring compliance with the firm's branding and communication standards.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams across Investment Banking, Asset Management, Operations, and other business units to deliver exceptional client solutions and service.
Develop and maintain strong industry and market expertise to identify opportunities and provide value-added insights to clients.
Conduct market and industry research to identify emerging trends, prospective clients, and business opportunities.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide periodic reports on client activities, business development efforts, and deal progress.
Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and conferences to strengthen relationships and enhance market visibility.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS, or progress towards obtaining them will be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Institutional Sales, Sales & Trading, Investment Management, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, or related client relationship roles.
Demonstrated experience managing relationships with institutional investors and corporate clients.
Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products.
