    Sales Associate

    • As a Sales Associate at our beauty and lifestyle company specializing in skincare and home fragrances, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and facilitating customer interactions within the company. Reporting to the Sales Lead, you will assist in sales activities, provides product information to customers, and ensures a positive shopping experience.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Customer Engagement:

    • Greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs and preferences.
    • Provide product information, demonstrations, and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.

    Sales Support:

    • Assist in maintaining product displays, merchandising, and inventory levels on the sales floor.
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and meet performance goals.

    Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about product features, benefits, and usage instructions to effectively communicate with customers.
    • Attend product training sessions and stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and sales events.
    • Share product knowledge and insights with customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business and foster loyalty.
    • Follow up with customers after their purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any post-purchase inquiries or concerns.
    • Capture customer feedback and insights to provide input for product improvement and customer service enhancements.

    SKILLS

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Familiarity with sales management software (e.g., CRM systems) for tracking leads, opportunities, and sales performance or willingness to learn.
    • Basic analytical skills for sales data analysis and performance tracking.
    • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions and managing inventory.
    • Basic computer skills for accessing product information and training materials.

    SOFT SKILLS

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and colleagues.
    • Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service and satisfaction.
    • Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for meeting sales targets and achieving results.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree/HND in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales roles.
    • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
    • Training in sales techniques, customer service, or product knowledge may be provided on the job.
