Restaurant Server at The Foodhub by CWC

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure orders of restaurant patrons are taken and deliver their food to them. Explain the menu to their customers, communicate with kitchen staff and balance dishes as they are taken to the appropriate tables.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers upon entrance and help customers select food/beverages.
• Respond to questions or make recommendations for complementary products.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is of high quality.
• Calculate customer bills through the cash register.
• Prepare bills for food and collect cash and debit card payments from customers.
• Make change available and issue receipts to customers.
• Perform some cleaning duties, such as at the service station and in the dining area.
• Deliver a memorable customer service experience to the client.
• Ensure cooking utensils and kitchen areas are cleaned during and after work to comply with state regulations.
• Manage orders via the e-commerce platforms
• Ensure achievement of individual KPIs daily.
• Any other duties assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of Higher National Diploma
• Relevant professional qualifications are an added advantage
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of restaurant POS systems is a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic software, such as Word and Excel.
• Working well within a team.
• Ability to multitask.
