REQUEST FOR THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR DEKO’S CONTRACT FARMING AND OUTSOURCING PROGRAM FOR 2023

Deko Integrated and Agro Processing Ltd, (DIAPL) Nigeria is a producer and exporter of value-added agri-food products from Sorghum, Cassava, Soybean and Cocoa.

We are looking for farmers associations, farmers cooperatives and small producers who are interested to join our contract farming and outsourcing programs to supply the following products:

• Dried cocoa bean and/or cocoa butter
• Soybean grain and/or soybean butter
• Sorghum grain
• Fresh cassava roots

Eligibility

Your farms or production sites should be located in 50km radius from Ekole, off Benin-Lagos express road, Benin city, Edo state as shown in the map link below.

Please, note that we do not accept application from a sole farmer; at least you should be a group of small farmers with a lead farmer and under a supervision of a village chief or head.

Offers

Our contract farming and outsourcing programs provide:

For small farmers

• Quality planting materials
• Training on the production of organic fertilizers and organic pesticides
• Training on modern agricultural practices and on digital agriculture
• Regular follow-up and problem solving

For small producers

• Training on quality control and digital supply chain
• Regular purchase contract

Procedures

Interested farmers associations, farmers cooperatives and small producers within this kilometer radius can send their expression of interest using the email address or phone contact below.

Selected farmers associations, farmers cooperatives or small producers will be invited to attend free of charge, our training program. Farmers and small producers who can pass successfully our certification test after this training will be invited to join our programs with all the benefits related to these programs.

Our programs are very selective and the whole process will take between 2 or 3 months before we can accept your organization into our program.

Timeline

The selection process will start from November 1st, 2022 to January 31st, 2023.

Deko’s contract farming and outsourcing program for 2023 will start in February 2023.
