Plumbing Instructor at Gabson Professional School of Safety & Engineering

Gabson Professional School of Safety and Engineering is a technical training school that focuses on helping students acquire the technical skills that will lead to career advancement.

Due to expansion in our plumbing department, we are seeking instructors in plumbing.

Main Responsibilities: Under direction of the School Administrator, the Instructor shall perform the following:

• Delivery of training program across the Plumbing Department in accordance with course syllabus.
• Maintain accurate registration, attendance, and records for each course taught.
• Recommend and assist with curriculum revisions as necessary.
• Use various assessment techniques to improve learning and teaching.
• Create an effective learning environment and use teaching methods designed for a variety of learning styles.
• Submit required reports and fulfil all contract provisions.
• Assist with maintaining a classroom environment emphasizing safety, good housekeeping and equipment security.
• Maintain student, instructor, and staff confidentiality. Consistently monitor work area to ensure instructor and student data is being protected.
• Participate in professional development activities designed to enhance job skills and knowledge, as agreed upon by the employee and supervisor.

• Preferred Qualifications: BSc / HND in any discipline AND completion of apprenticeship/certification in plumbing. Candidate must be IT literate.

  Work Experience: Five year’s work history in plumbing field which must include teaching experience.
