    Operations Manager

    Job Overview:

    • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of OUR CLIENT. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in managing our creative team, developing, and executing business strategies, and maintaining our brand's reputation for creativity and sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership

    • Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team of designers, tailors, artisans, and support staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that values innovation and craftsmanship.
    • Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.

    Operational Excellence

    • Oversee the entire production process, ensuring quality, sustainability, and ethical practices.
    • Manage inventory, stock levels, and supply chain logistics, focusing on sustainable sourcing.
    • Implement effective cost control measures while maintaining uncompromised quality standards.

    Client Relations

    • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and address client inquiries or concerns.
    • Seek feedback from clients to improve product offerings and customer experience continuously.

    Budget Management:

    • Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.
    • Make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and ensure financial sustainability.

    Brand Promotion and Sustainability

    • Represent OUR CLIENT at industry events, fashion shows, and sustainability initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing and advertising campaigns that align with our brand's values.
    • Promote and champion sustainable fashion practices and ethical sourcing throughout the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in fashion house management, including team leadership and brand development.
    • Strong understanding of fashion industry trends, sustainable fashion practices, fabrics, production processes, and quality control.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for inventory management and financial analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve financial goals.
    • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for African fashion and design.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
