Role Overview
The Operations Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of in the organization to ensure efficiency, compliance, and sustainable growth. This role translates strategy into execution by aligning people, processes, facilities, and resources with Organization's mission of talent development, innovation, and enterprise support.
The Operations Lead serves as the backbone of organizational performance, ensuring smooth internal operations while supporting program delivery, partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily administrative and operational activities across all units.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, SOPs, and workflows.
- Ensure efficient utilization of facilities, equipment, and shared resources.
- Coordinate schedules for programs, training sessions, events, and hub activities.
Strategic Execution & Planning
- Translate organizational strategy into actionable operational plans.
- Support management in annual planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance and status reports.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Team & Resource Coordination
- Supervise administrative and support staff, ensuring clarity of roles and accountability.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate instructors, facilitators, and program staff to ensure effective delivery.
Financial & Asset Oversight
- Support budget implementation and cost-control measures.
- Track operational expenses and ensure value-for-money spending.
- Oversee inventory, assets, and facility maintenance.
- Work with finance to ensure proper documentation and accountability.
Stakeholder & Partnership Support
- Serve as a key coordination point for partners, vendors, service providers, and institutions.
- Support the execution of MoUs, institutional collaborations, and sponsored programs.
- Ensure operational readiness for partner engagements, trainings, and events.
Compliance, Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.
- Support audits, reviews, and organizational assessments.
