NYSC Finance Intern at Norrenberger Financial Group

Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking an NYSC Finance Intern. The NYSC Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in carrying out day-to-day financial and accounting operations. The intern will assist with financial documentation, record-keeping, reconciliations, and reporting while gaining practical experience in financial management, compliance, and internal controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support the preparation and processing of payment vouchers, invoices, and expense claims.
• Assist with daily cash management and bank reconciliation activities.
• Support the posting of transactions into accounting systems or spreadsheets.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking departmental expenses.
• Support statutory and regulatory documentation where required.
• Assist in filing and proper documentation of financial records for audit purposes.
• Provide support during internal and external audit exercises.
• Assist with preparation of basic financial reports and summaries.
• Carry out other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Officer or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Current batch C 2025 NYSC member (Corper) seeking Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) and posted to Abuja.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
