As a 3D Modeller, you will be instrumental in creating detailed and accurate 3D models for a variety of our projects.
Your responsibilities will include interpreting 2D designs and translating them into 3D space while maintaining the aesthetic integrity of the original design.
You will be in charge of developing high-polygon models and creating efficient, lower-resolution versions for production.
A critical part of your role will be UV unwrapping, ensuring optimal texture layout for subsequent texture painting.
Working closely with our texture artists and riggers, you will play a vital role in bringing our characters and environments to life.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Computer Graphics, Art, or a related field is a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D modelling, ideally within the VFX, gaming, or similar industry.
Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as Blender or Maya.
Solid understanding of UV unwrapping and the principles of efficient texture layout.
An excellent grasp of form, scale, and proportion.
Familiarity with a variety of rendering engines and shaders.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong communication and time management skills.
A robust portfolio showcasing your 3D modelling and UV unwrapping skills.
