Mixologist at Domeo Resources International (DRI)

Reports to: Head Mixologist / Bar Supervisor

Main Function

The Mixologist will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and cocktails while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role involves creating beverage recipes, maintaining bar standards, ensuring proper inventory usage, and supporting smooth bar operations. The ideal candidate should be creative, customer-focused, and experienced in hospitality and lounge environments.

Role Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation and Service

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Create innovative drink recipes and seasonal beverage menus.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Customer Service and Engagement

• Provide excellent customer service and beverage recommendations.
• Interact professionally with guests and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

Inventory and Bar Operations

• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Support bar setup and closing procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Certifications

• SSCE, OND, HND, or relevant hospitality certification.
• Professional mixology or bartending certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 0–2 years’ experience as a mixologist or bartender.
• relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant, lounge, club, or resort environments is an advantage.
• knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage preparation is an advantage.
