    Marketing Communications Specialist

    • In this dynamic role, you'll become a strategic storyteller, crafting compelling narratives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth for PressOne Africa. We're looking for a creative and data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • This hands-on position requires someone who can wear multiple hats and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty to ensure our message resonates with the right audience.

    To carry out your role…

    • You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing communications campaigns across various channels.
    • Unleash your creativity to develop captivating content for social media, radio, television, email marketing, and the website.
    • Take ownership of PressOne Africa's digital presence, ensuring a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
    • Analyse campaign performance and leverage data insights to optimise results and maximise return on investment (ROI).

    Your Key Responsibilities

    Content Strategy & Management:

    • Develop high-quality content that resonates with our target audience across all channels.
    • Ensure consistent visual identity and brand voice across all marketing materials.
    • Develop a data-driven content strategy that aligns with PressOne Africa's overall marketing goals.

    Campaign Execution & Optimisation:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Analyse campaign performance using data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Continuously optimise campaigns to maximise brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

    Digital Presence & Public Relations:

    • Manage PressOne Africa's digital presence across various platforms (website, social media).
    • Develop relationships with relevant media outlets and secure positive press coverage.
    • Build and maintain a strong online reputation for PressOne Africa.

    Stakeholder Management & Partnerships:

    • Organise and participate in industry networking events to connect with potential customers and partners.
    • Identify and collaborate with other organisations or individuals to expand reach and achieve marketing goals.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate

    • A savvy marketer with a knack for storytelling and a passion for building brands (minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications or a similar role).
    • You're a quick learner, resourceful, and willing to get your hands dirty to tackle diverse marketing challenges.
    • You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to a variety of audiences.
    • An eye for design and a strong understanding of current marketing trends and best practices.
